– (Re) Inventing A Mid-Rise High Density Fabric For Miami

wynwood norte wynwood norte
As part of a housing-focused studio, eight sections with together more than 90 students spent seven weeks on the testing of a brand new (mid-rise high-density) zoning code for Wynwood Norte. The students focused on the residential-only parts of the district, with a T4 designation that allowed for up to 16 units per average lot (5-7,500 sqft).

The following eight documents illustrate excerpts of each section’s work, including proposals for the improvement of the shared public spaces in front of the properties.

Please read the assignment description for more details, and locate each section on the map.
