The University of Miami offers many opportunities for collaboration across disciplines, in coursework and research. Faculty partnerships with colleagues in the Miller School of Medicine's Public Health Department, the Abess Center of Ecosystem Science and Policy, the Department of Geography in the School of Arts and Sciences, and the UM Office of Civic and Community Engagement inform the M.U.D. coursework and encourage student engagement in specific interest beyond the basic program curriculum.
